Has anyone bought and installed these on their E9? If so, what is your feedback, seems like a reasonable price. Any drilling required to install?

Then what about these from Rennline. I thought Rennline was Porsche stuff but it popped up when I typed in E9 BMW.

I’ll ask for curiosity - aside from looks is there something these metal pedals provide? I see them advertised for multiple cars but not sure of purpose

More consistent grip and pedal feel, at least in theory. Some accelerator pedals, like the Rennline Mini pedals linked above, have an extra flange to close the gap between the brake and accelerator, making heel-toe downshifting less of a stretch.
