Notes:

2015-02-24: price reduced to $150 shipped. Or make an offer. If no takers by next week, I'll convert these e9 brake boosters to 2002 tii brake boosters, which sell for $180-220. Not a threat, just an update. I have no use for e9 brake boosters as I'm a 2002 guy.

I'm a long-time member of the BMW2002FAQ.com community. My user name on the FAQ is williamggruff. My real name is Grice Mulligan.

I'm assisting with the liquidation of a collection of BMW parts. An FAQ member recommended that I list e9 parts for sale on this forum. Though I'm very well informed regarding prices of 2002 parts (I have a basement full of parts, and am the parts guru for three 2002 racing teams), I'm not as familiar with pricing of e9 parts. Please pardon me if I list prices that are too high or low. The collector has given me the OK to list e9 parts at prices that approximate prices for similar 2002 parts. Seems like a good starting point.

The two brake boosters shown below appear to be in good working condition. I've tested each by depressing the activator rod, noting smooth movement in and out accompanied by an appropriate amount of resistance, and listened to the sucking sound of the vacuum.

As with anything that I sell on the FAQ, if you're not satisfied, then neither am I.

My PayPal address is grice dot mulligan at gmail dot com.

I will ship parts within two business days of funds receipt.

I'm located in Clinton, Maryland. I'm estimating $20 for shipping for each booster, and am including that cost in the price. If you can pick up a part, I'll reduce the price by the $20 shipping cost.

As noted in the lengthy post above, I'm selling these 2000 CS brake boosters for a friend who collected quite a few 2002 and e9 parts over the years. And by "quite a few" I mean far more than I can reasonably store in my basement and garage without raising the ire of my wonderful wife. I can readily convert these brake boosters into 2002 tii brake boosters, but I'd rather not. While it's a trivial undertaking, it strikes me as going against the spirit with which the collector accumulated and held these NLA parts. That said, I'm about a week from shortening the activator shafts, welding on fork head connectors from the abundance of non-tii 2002 brake boosters in my basement, and selling these boosters on the BMW2002FAQ. The 2002 community is eager to get their hands on tii brake boosters, and they sell for $180-220 in OK condition. The money doesn't go to me, it goes to the collector; but avoiding the disappointed look on my wife's face when she comes in from the garage is worth the effort.

So these are essentially Tii brake boosters with a different rod length? Is it a bolt in for 3.0cs's? If so, I would think the triple weber crowd would be interested on these.

Yes, this is essentially a tii brake booster with a longer rod length. Both boosters share the T51 brake booster body. The differences are that the tii booster has a much shorter activator rod, and the tii rod has a forkhead flange rather than a threaded extension as with the 2000 CS.

I'm unfortunately not familiar enough with the 3.0 CS to comment on whether a 2000 CS brake booster will mount up directly to a 3.0 CS. I have a tii brake booster on my non-tii 2002 so that my dual Webers can have horns like in a Ricola commercial.

Perhaps we can publish a Haiku collection based on Coupe parts, driving adventures and cars. I would have written this in Haiku form but don't have the patience required.
Typical always in a rush American.
