The two cars are located in Atlanta Georgia.

Between the two cars I have $23,000. I’d like to sell them for the same amount.

One is a complete vehicle, purchased from the previous owner disassembled.

The other is a car: I was going to use it to build a tribute race car. Lots of rust in the floorboards. It is best described as a shell only.

Looking at the practicality of doing two more restorations, well, it’s just not going to happen.

I’ll try and post some pictures in the next little bit.

Thank you, Robert Patton,

I have a file folder full of them.

Send to your cell number?

Thanks.

I'm not interested in the cars, but it is probably best to put the pics in an on line photo album (Google Photos is free) and link to them. That way the viewer can view them on a larger screen than a phone and you don't have to send the individual pictures to several people...just the link. Just a thought. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks, Dick.

Unfortunately, technology

is a weak point for me.

( How did the picture split the text?)

But I do know how to restore a car, just not up for doing two more of them.
It is an age thing.

We are all getting older but we still have a few marathons left in us. Once I start a project, cannot stop. It's the starting that is getting tougher.

Robert - can you send the VIN for these 2 coupes please ... would like to add them to the coupe ancestry project
thanks

Not that I'm considering doing it (will happily have hands very full soon) but would love to see some close-ups of the rack and pinion/subframe conversion.

This would be a good topic for its own thread. After turning 70 five years ago, I hadn't done much automotive work - just lost the desire to crawl under cars. But, my e9 was getting a bit shabby and I slowly began to tear into it early this summer. After awhile, I got into a rhythm, and now it is all stripped down and at the body shop for a repaint, headliner replacement, some re-chroming, and numerous cosmetic fixes. I've been having fun - this is the third time I've disassembled and painted it in my 35 years of ownership - and each time I've torn into it, I dig a little deeper.

But yea, I swear this is my last (HA!).
