I don't think that the dashboard is salvageable. :(

Two statements within the description stand out to me:
"ran strong before parked", and "very complete car for restoration". Looking at the images, it is hard to qualify either of those sentiments.

License plate sticker is 1990... (we switched to windshield stickers after 1994) Not so hard to believe it 'ran strong' 27 years ago. The engine is probably easily repairable even now. Too bad it's the least valuable and easiest to replace part of the whole thing.

Cant quite make out the last digit of the VIN for our records, 2280253or5, I'll send him a note...part of the barn is in the interior.
Looks like maybe it was originally Riviera maybe? Glad its in TX and not close...

Better eyes than mine, thanks..how does that get put in our database? Can I just enter that into our "pool" as "found for sale on ebay" or what is proper way...?

Looks like the seller pulled the auction before it ended. Guess it wasn't "no reserve" after all. Or maybe he sold it off eBay.

Perhaps its like watching a train wreck, and I can't look away...I asked the buyer, and he responded that he pulled it to take better pictures..Offered it as a buy it now for $5500. Told him that I appreciated the info.

Seems like a bold strategy. I'm not sure any new pictures are going to add value to what the original pictures portrayed. It will be interesting to see if it pops up again, and what will change.
