Hello my Limey cousins.
Do any of you have any experience with UK based providers who can give a certificate that a car is free of asbestos? It's a nightmare importing cars into Australia if they decide to look at this.

There are plenty of companies who do asbestos surveys for houses, I need see why they wouldn't be able to do the same for a car

Perhaps contact the manufacturuer and get a letter stating that asbestos was not used anywhere in the construction (which I presume it wasn't).

depends on the build year .... i sure suspect gaskets , brake pads etc.. ?
