unknown coupe carpet piece

okay guys,

the carpet install has gone pretty well. the KHM kit all fits very well. but there is this one little piece that i have no idea where it goes. can anybody tell me where it should be placed? the piece of carpet is sitting on an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper for size purposes

I had the same question .

Although I imagine you have already got the answer I confirm the information I have received from KHM:

"It is a retain/reference sample in case further parts could be required".

I agree, nice quality and easy to install.
