It’s been a few years since I’ve been under the coupe . Time for a good nut & bolt check.
But mainly I needed to look at my exhaust, I found what I had expected a crack right behind the collector.
Time to install these Stahl headers and fab up a new exhaust system.

I’m not going to do anything fancy… no bling, just a solid clean exhaust.

Also a good time to bleed the brakes change the power steering fluid, oil change

Nice set of wheels and tyres
What sizes are you using ?
The rear tyres look like they might be a bit narrower than the rim itself .
Maybe it’s for clearance or maybe it’s the camera angle .
Either way she looks great.

Isn't that just about equal to the pitch of the 2 short pipes on the center resonator?

I quickly searched through google and found this pic. Distance seems to be around half a pipe's diameter.
And I think that with some light force you can find a 2-3 mm's easily, and with more force I think a quarter of an inch isn't a problem.

Here’s a little update

I found that the Idler arm bushing is a little giving. It is just a rubber in a tube so it’s not the most durable part

I pulled the complete exhaust off and it was in bad shape at the collector where the noise was coming from.

Pretty funky but hey it worked

My son and I put the Stahl headers on . It’s definitely a 2 man job . You have to put both of them up at the same time. Mike was under and me at the engine, it’s tight but went in easily
