Some time ago I commissioned Terry Forland @ Racecraft to build a street 2002 for me. It has been a long on-going project. But last Friday we reached a milestone. The shell and lids received a coat of beautiful Laguna Seca blue paint!
One of the big delays involved the flares we built for the car. We had a set of Schnitzel-Like box flares but they seemed too wide for what I wanted. So we built molds from the borrowed flares, made a set, and narrowed them down. I hope you agree that the work was well worth the results.
The car will have an S14 with 5 speed in it as well as a mildly re-worked suspension and brakes.
The NSU has been worked over by Jim & Terry @ Racecraft and will make its racing debut this coming weekend at the PNW vintage races at Seattle. One thing I wanted to do was pay homage to my Father's dealership so we did a graphics package that reflected his sponsorship of my early racing efforts in an NSU just like this car:
