Urgent E9 VIN confirmation needed

Hi All,

I am in need of an urgent confirmation of an E9 3.0 CSi VIN number. The number is 2262710.

It should be a RHD 1973 CSi (bought in the UK), but when I look at the CS registry it seems to place it as a 1972 LHD CSi. So I am confused as the owner says it is definitely a RHD and definitely never been converted.

Can anyone confirm this for me? I am hoping to buy this car tomorrow (I have a deposit down already) and would love any input that can be offered.

They replied in less than 24 hours, but that was in early '08, things may have changed.

The VIN suggests this coupe left the factory around June 1972 (April 24 for mine). It may well have been titled as a '73, since they were expensive and not fast sellers.
