Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone had put E24 axles on the E9 to improve handling? I cannot find any real information on it, and E24 is too short a search term for the board which limits the searching for it.
I know it is an unorthodox question but me and Miklos were discussing next steps for the Taiga with M88 and the topic of handling and braking came up. With E24 axles there should be better rear handling and it would be easy to add ABS. It looks like it is doable without too much work, especially since since the car is being fully restored. I know this takes the car away from original and it is maybe not necessary for normal driving but it is always fun to brainstorm and learn. ABS would be a nice addition for general safety and does not look very hard to do and could even be possible on the original axles, I found a company that 3D prints tone wheels so I could get some that fits on the E9.
Thoughts?
