Valve cover gasket leaks

I removed the valve cover off to check the valve adjustment. I noticed that the gasket I replaced a few months ago is leaking on the exhaust side. I had put some gasket seal on that side to keep this from happening because the previous gasket had done the same thing. Should I not use gasket seal? What should I do to stop getting leaks on that side?

Check to make sure your dome/cap nuts aren’t too shallow to tighten on the studs, the originals are a bit taller.

thank you I do have hardware store cap nuts , is there source for the right ones?

Try it with standard m6 hex nuts first. Belmetric is a good source.
