car was not running well, rough idle pulled the plugs all had oil on the threads pulled valve cover gasket was wet. This is an easy job question is do members use a gasket seal or just put it on dry? Oil tube bolts are tight. I ordered gasket from Autohausaz $10

I used it when reassembling my MG engine. Resistant to fuel and oil, non-setting so good for items which may be removed later like a cylinder head. Here’s some info on the different formulations. I use the standard blue, spread on a thin layer, wait a few minutes and then press the gasket down and tighten the valve cover down. Some say no sealant needed, the gasket does all the work. Sure, that probably works, but this seems to provide a little extra sealing capability
