I selfishly held out on this post for a bit, as it is nearby. I will not proceed as it doesn't gain me anything. I talked to the owner via email. The interior is shot. No front seats or wheels with the car. The exterior looks fairly clean but it has some rust bubbles. At least one inner fender replaced, as well as floor pans. Email the owner for pics or pm me if you don't hear back. The car is an off white color.

Selfish indeed....and how do you feel about that...?:-?

Joking of course :-o, but there should be some sort of car therapy (treatment?) center to help some of us who are addicts...

Markos,
I knew you would find this. I am attempting to get an appointment to view. Perhaps what I discover will help in your therapy. Stay tuned.....

Hi

A friend of mine just looked at the car beside the fact that it is very rusty, rockers full of bondo, rust behind the A pillars and I am sure lots of other places. No interior, no engine or trans, a few bits here and there. Even as a parts car maybe worth half of that at best Too good to be true Sorry everyone for getting excited

Thanks, Rick

PS and I don't want it for myself.

Not my car, but here are some pics

seller wrote to me:

"[FONT=&quot]Canadian car, clean title. Shock towers solid, floor has been replaced at some point and is solid, trunk solid, will need body and reprint to make it really nice. Bubbling of paint in some areas, worst is lower front fender. "

If it was a CS 3.0, I'd snag it for the parts (whole disk brake setup is what I'd need) for maybe $4k tops.

BTW, I noticed that there is damage below the passenger side tail light. I hope that it doesn't get parted.

looks like a great car for someone. if it wasn't so far away id really be trying for it.

Rick,
I was going to check it out and suggest you pick it up, throw that 3.5 litre in and away you go! It should be saved Rick, just enough time to work your magic before Monterey next August! Markos, I know you won't sleep until you find out what happens next....

Hi Mike,

Just what I need, another project. HA Ha If I had the space and extra cash, I might just do that but I still have my Fiat 124 Spider to finish, the Alfa Spider Duetto and the two 911's to finish before I can get to my own 73 3.0 I am deep into a 72 2002ti right now full resto for a customer. Just picked a complete 71 used 3.0 engine and 4 speed ( too bad it is an old ZF box ) but what the hell, price was right.

I just hope that I will still be allowed to drive by the time I get all of these cars done.

Maybe a good project for someone who wants to go Vintage racing without going way overboard.

Yes Rick, I agree. I corresponded with the owner and I feel this would be a great candidate for vintage racing too. I had to step away, simply have run out of space. Mike
