euro spec 75 CSi.
Ran the car up today and noticed that at idle the interior lights were flickering.
Dodgy earth was the first idea. However on putting on main beam headlights noticed the alternator light just glimmering and the headlights were flickering aswell even with 1500 RPM on the engine.
Put an AVO meter across the battery and got a varying reading 13.6-14.3 volts, at idle and at 1500 rpm. This would seem like a voltage regulator failing or possible an alternator problem.
Anybody any ideas as to which I should have a go at first? Will start with cleaning all the ground/earthing points though.
