While going through all the old receipts for my car, I’ve really been enjoying uncovering its history. I came across this receipt documenting the installation of Venolia pistons, and it was an exciting find.
A little research revealed that, back in 1976, Venolia pistons were considered a premium performance upgrade. The mileage was not recorded on the receipt, but based on the date, I believe MissE had around 90,000 miles at the time. That means I may have only about 48,000 miles on this engine refresh — a pretty amazing discovery after all these years.
