the best system i know for a thread repair maintaining the bolt size

you probably know HELICOIL or similar, but this is better, you will build a new thread with a solid insert without affecting too much thickness of the damaged solid

only con´s: very expensive !

ups, now i realized that timesert is a brand itself, so probably the european firm wurth has bought the right to sell it under the wurth name ?

anyone can tell ?
