My first time with Iain but certainly not the last. Thanks for posting this John. If you own a CS of any kind this is a must watch video. His repair of the distributor on this CSL is a lesson in trouble shooting for any owner/mechanic.
I shed a tear when he mentioned it was originally a Taiga car...
He's fantastic. I've been watching him for years. He had another e9 on a while back, too. His knowledge of vintage cars is unbelievable. Great stories, too.
He is a little misinformed on the number of CSi built and claiming many were automatic. We know only a few did have automatic.
there was a series of RHD CSiA (4330xxx) - the manual tranny RHD CSi is (4350xxx). i don't really have any records of any 226xxxx or 434xxxx automatics.
I believe 433xxxx is CSA, the Wiki called them CSiA, I would to have someone prove me wrong. I don’t understand why only the RHD CSi would have had their own VIN series for an automatic.
