Rare functional York compressor removed from a 1972 3.0 CS. As can readily be seen, the single piston compressors are larger and more substantial compared to the dinky rotary compressors on offer today. When you switch on the A/C with this baby, you can really feel it. $150 plus shipping complete with fan clutch, mounting bracket and a pair of hoses.

Chris,

Oh yes, I remember well the vibration associated with that single piston York when it started up. I was in NC, SC, and GA most of the time for the summers of '76 and '77. It got lots of use then, and I didn't lose any fillings in my teeth, so there must not have been too much vibration in that up/down single piston.

Great way to keep the car original and make Concours points!!
