As usual the most beautiful four door sedan BMW will ever build is forgotten. The E3 Bavaria and its iterations.

Sigh

My apologies, I am coupe centric but all E3's are welcome too and I don't think I have ever seen one at the Vintage in Saratoga.

I can't make this year's show. But I will try to round up a couple of these rare beauties for next year. Yes, it is a great show.

Forgot me too…i brought my inka e3-3.0si there that had just finished massive 4.5 yr full Resto (body, mechanicals, EVERYTHING)..and is my profile pic….ruminating if i come this year and if i do, do i also bring my 74e3 bavaria and my 69e3-2800 (?) especially since e9 stan (@Stan ) mistakenly wonders if e3 were ever at this nice Event but e3s were indeed present but get lost & neglected by all the e9s and other nice vintage bmws…..BUT hope we get the currently glorious northeast (at least nyc / westchester / CT areas) weather too for saratoga vintage event…..heres to Hoping ?!

Hey..Asking for Help - here in NorthEast (NY / CT / new england states) we are currently in a glorious last few weeks Weather (sunny, low 70s to mid 80s, and hardly any rain or humidity ?!). So, can EVERYONE who loves vintage bmws AND loves Vintage @ Saratoga Springs NY event (whether you attend or not) can we passionately (as we bmws people are, wink / smile) suggest to Event Organizers AND Saratoga Auto Museum (Host site) maybe to switch event 2026 and betond to either last weekend in Sept OR 1st week of Oct…once we hit MidOctober (as this event is) weather patterns are more “hit or miss / sun or rain/colder)…even a week or 2 earlier (last weekend in Sept makes sense, seemingly no conflicts - any kids back in school , no real Car shows , no holidays where people may want to make GetAway plans, etc and weather end of Sept seemingly always nice, especially NOW). just a supportive suggestion for this awesome Event……help me people, suggest to Event Coordinating staff and saratoga museum….my inka e3-3.0si doesn't like inclement MidOctober weather , possible rain, 40s at night / overnight…..anyway, best wishes everyone !! Inka e3 thomas

I've been to every Vintage at Saratoga since the first back in July 2010. This will be the first year going "incog-neato" by registering 1988 M5 Rodney aka The Camille-Mobile.

Veronika had brake booster failure at Lime Rock Fall Festival 43, The booster won't be back from being rebuilt in time.
Vern is going to VSR on the way to Saratoga.
Athena is an option too.

Perfect day!
