Vintage Near Perfect Recaro Leather seats for E9 on Ebay

Oh, and any help from the Recaro experts on here to tell me about what year these seats are (and from which model) would be much appreciated!

Not an expert by any means, but they look very similar to E21 sport recaros with some kind of extra adjustment brackets/bar on the bottom. I don't think they're the same, but very very close.

Thanks for the replies Dan, Ora gener. Orangener, your seats are similar, but still different as both the side and leg bolsters in your photo extend out more than my seats. Also, the manual levers for moving the seats are in different locations. Hmmm. Maybe someone else onthe site will be able to pinpoint the year and the model of these seats. As I've said, they are pretty rare and I've not seen any other ebay sales in the last few months have these exact seats.

DanG, thanks again for your input. I've posted a thread on the E21 forum to see if someone there can help me out. Not that it really matters because I'll not own them after the auction is over. But I'm very curious!

Thanks,
Jonathan

Those seats were standard for the e21 320is. Normally they were vinyl upholstery so I'm assuming they were recovered in leather at some point.

They are a great seat for the E9. Rail adapters need to be fabricated for proper fit as the existing rails for those seats do not fit the E9. I believe Aaddark Racing will fabricate the rails.
