hello

I will visit boston (massachussets) for one week in july

I seldom travel to USA, so my intention is to take advantage of the trip to visit any interesting places (regarding e9 coupes) in that area

Does anyone know any interesting shop, garage, spare parts supplier,...in boston area?

Obviously I will not have a rented car so I will be limited to those places accesible by public transport

thanks

regards

I don't know of much within walking distance of the Boston/Cambridge area. The Larz Anderson Auto Museum is a short walk from a Green Line station. Depending on when will you be here, they hold events on their lawn. Check their site for the calendar - www.larzanderson.org
This coming weekend (7/17) Hemmings -a US auto magazine- is hosting a show in Vermont which is about 3.5-4hr to the North. On the same day, the NY chapter of the BMW club is hosting a show at the Saratoga Auto Museum in Saratoga, NY. This is also about 4 hrs away, just northwest of the Mass/NY border.

Boston coupe gathering for deQuincey! (summer 2014)

We have 8-10 E9 owners in the greater Boston area....

We will arrange a gathering of the Coupes for your arrival deQ!

I can pick you up from the airport given I live in the city and <10minutes from the Logan airport.

Best regards (and this time my battery will not be flat)

oh snap....

oh bother... just realized the thread here is for December 4th (not July)...

My coupe is hibernating for the winter and most anything to do with classic cars has shut down this time of the year deQ

You have my mobile number from the last time you visited... call me and we can catch up for a beer or three
