Agreed, and I grip my steering wheel in horror if an uninformed passenger flips it down

I did that in my buddy’s 70’s Westy the first day of a cross-country road trip. Needless to say there was only one sun visor on that trip headed due west.
These seem like the perfect candidate for someone with a 3d printer.
