I've found several references to these for lining the front fenders of the e9 BMW. I'm interested in buying and installing a pair over the winter, but want to be sure of the specific product. What years of these Volvo 240's are used for the best fit?

Thanks for your guidance.

Stan,

Thanks for the reference. I am also familiar with these. Considering how UNLIKELY it is that I'll be driving the CS in wet conditions, I'm looking for modest protection, primarily from road pebbles, etc.

It seems to me that the Lokari product is probably superior.

I believe they are from mid 80's to '92 240 series.

I have an unused nos pair that I am not going to install because i have lowered my car and have wider than stock wheels. I believe the aluminum strips for rigidity have already been installed.

If you are interested let me know.

Steve,

Thanks for the info and offer. PM sent, but probably more than I'm interested in spending.

PS: Steve - THANK YOU for the PM response. That info is extremely helpful.

Some Volvo part numbers:

RH 1254748
LF 1254747

I think they are from early to mid 80's.

I just wanted to pop my head and say that I had a 240 Station Wagon.

Outside of a dog a Volvo 240 is man's best friend...

I had 2, plus the dogs to go in the back. The volvos were more reliable than the dogs.
