Hi,

I recently won a set of Vredestein Sprint Classics in 205/70VR15 at a car show. I am curious if anyone has run this tire profile on the forum I checked the tire/wheel fitment post and didn't see anything in this tire size.

It's a pretty tall tire at 25.9", but I think it would look pretty nice. Just curious if anyone is running these tires and if they could post a photo.

Thanks,

Marco

so here is the question, do you have 15" wheels? i have 15", but i run 215/60-15 ... the alternate size is 205/60-15

Hi Scott, funny enough I don't. Car is 100% stock currently. So, I have been incentivized to find a set of 15" wheels.

What I really want are 16 x 7 x 8. I'd like room to grow as I have plans for the brakes.

thats what i thought - 15" wheels are the rarest wheel on the e9 coupe. your best bet is to see if a tire store might be willing to trade the tires for a size that might be more worthwhile for you.

there are only a few 15" wheels that work on the e9. Weds, BBS Mahle, Rial + Oz are the 3 that i am aware of. but they are all rare. i have the 15" OZ alpina style ... i really like them as the perfect middle between the 14" alpina and 16" alpina / BBS RS (all are my favorites on the coupe)

Hi

So did Alpina fit these tyres to the E9?

2002 Alpina cars fitted CN36.

215/60R15 CN36 diameter 639mm
195/70VR14 CN36 diameter 624mm
195/70VR14 XWX diameter 630 according to my old Michelin book

Does anyone have any evidence of what wheels and tyres the Alpina cars fitted in period? pictures of brochures are great if anyone has them?
