posting because it's unique. Not mine.

where is wenatchee? The ad itself is confusing.
I would love a Glas to work on but just what is this guy selling?

I think it's in Washington state. Unfortunately, this car has a Mazda Wankel and not the Glas 4 cyl with a timing belt and floatless carbs.

Wenatchee is on the other side of the cascades. It's pretty easy to get to, but not close to Seattle. About 90 minutes.

Looking at the ad, I am not sure what he is selling. I seems that he is selling the red car that appears to be a1600 GT that was hot-rodded. But is the yellow one thrown in as a parts car?
$2500 seems reasonable for a parts car. Assuming it is not riddled with rust.
I would think the red one would be $15k

I think the red one is a typical "i could look like this" craigslist addition. The yellow car is for sale.

I think this predates BMW's involvement with the car. The ad's title is wrong since the 1700 did not have the BMW engine along with some other bits. Tempting little project...

Terry's is for sale. If I had $65k, it would be on a truck to NH now! The ad is confusing. I think it is the yellow 1700 with the rotary engine and other mods. The red one is a BMW but just a picture of what could be

Still no reply. The posting is still up so maybe the owner moved and has other pressing issues.
As a side note, the red car in the ad is in Germany and must just be there to show a potential buyer how cool the car could look. Obviously looking for a hot-rod effect. They are cool enough stock.

Now I am thinking it could be a scam. No response from "seller" and I found the exact same photo montage in a BaT posting from October 2010! I am thinking if this were real, there would be more photos...

Stan,

I text the seller and he got back to me in about 45 seconds. Someone is looking at the car tomorrow. Keep you posted! I received additional pics per my request. Same car and I must say they are enticing!

I see that it is sold...along with the additional pics. Sort of hoped it would have a lot more rust...There are times that I am glad that I don't have more money. I think that this is one of them.
