Is anyone running a Walloth&Nesch stainless exhaust? If so what is your impression of the build quality and do you like the exhaust note?

Thanks, Doug

Have not gotten around to install mine's yet, but as far as fit, finish and construction, the system is beyond excellent. Hope it sounds as good as it looks. Every component of the exhaust system is polished to a gleaming shine. It is made by Larini of England, manufacture of exhaust systems for Ferrari, Lamborghini, Astin Martin, Pagani, Mclaren F1... well, you get the picture.

hi bert,
have you checked the "larini" brand in any of the parts of the exhaust that you bought from walloth ?

I contacted W&N about the manufacturer of their exhaust, they confirmed these are made by Larini.

Hi deQuincey, no Larini identifications on any of the components, but W&N did confirm that they are the manufacturer of their SS exhaust system.

I bought a set of Eisenmann stainless exhausts for my 850i recently, while fit, finish and construction are excellent, but it cannot compare to the superior construction of the W&N system.

I have done business with W&N on a few different occasions and agree that their service and parts are excellent. What exhaust do you have now? I find the stock eberspacher system sounds very good. Good luck with your project.

Cheers,

MF

Mine is a mix match of different components, Stahl header, Leistritz Center Section no resonator and Eberspacher rear muffler.

I know the Werk Shop uses them for many parts as well, they have 12 E9 cars in restoration at the same time right now.....amazing....if someone can tell me how to upload pictures, will post them...a dear friend Tom Kelly does all their motors....he is as good as it gets....

Where is the 'werk shop' located? Pics would certainly lift morale, not that it's low....

If you need help with pictures, just ask as I am sure there are many on the forum who would be glad to help.
