Wanted - Any information on 2285072 (inc engine location)

I know it's a long shot BUT does anyone have any information on 2285072 especially the whereabouts of 2285072 engine block?
The engine is probably long gone but i thought it was worth asking just in case someone had the block sat there in the back of their garage.
It would be nice to restore the car with the correct engine and make another matching numbers car.

Yes, UK CSL's are all 2285xxx parallel to the left hand 2275xxx CSLs.

Hi Paul, is there any way you could measure the thickness of the roof steel, it will be the same everywhere so on a pillar would do, also on the removed rear wings,

I am new to this forum so sorry if it's in the wrong section but I was looking for info on a part - an engine - so thought it was the best place?

I will measure the roof and wing thickness but am tied with customers today.

I now have lots of measurements of 3 RHD CSL's (2285***) roof, wing and rear quarter panel thicknesses, I will post a thread about this soon as I have been told this section is just for parts, if i can i will tag you in the thread.
