wanted - centre console sides

Center consoles

Hi Guys:
I live in Ma. and for the last twenty years have been in the used auto business. Anytime we had rips or tears in leather or vinyl upholstery we had a mobile service come in and repair the damage. Perfect results, very inexpensive. I am sure there are such services all over the country.
If anyone would want to give this a try please contact me.
Have a great day.

The problem is getting the chamfer where the panels meet the dash correct. The OEM pieces are vacuum formed, but to sew new vinyl that maintains the shape seems impossible. I havent seen a non-OEM part that looks right. Although if any car has it, Jabberjaw is certainly going to be at the top of the list.

Here is how it should look:

AC vs Non-AC

My non-AC side console side panels are in great shape but I'm still not clear as to whether or not my AC upgrade will require new panels all together or whether I just have to cut some holes in my existing ones and figure out how to have some vents made (or risk losing a shoelace).

Ac and non-ac panels are not even close.
Whole different shape.

Wanted

OK, so it looks like I'm going to need a set to complete my AC setup. I have an upholstery guy in Greenville recovering my dash. The vinyl sample looked like a good match, should have it back in a few weeks. If anyone has any sides in need of a recover, I'll have enough material left over to cover these as well.

I'm having AC sides recovered so I'm interested in the vinyl if it is a really close match. You have side by side pics?

Vinyl

I don't have side by side pics but can probably get some next week. Out of town for work this week stuck in a conference room (which probably explains the high volume of posts from me this week!).

If you need information sooner, the name of the place is Bucket Stitch in Greenville, SC.

Dimensions of the panels

How hard would it be to remake the panels and then have them recovered. Since it's looking pretty hard to find a pair and when I do I'll have to recover them anyways, I'm thinking I might have to get out the router and just make a set. Does anyone have any un-vinyled that they could take some dimensions?

I just removed the vinyl from a 74 with factory AC. Happy to give you photos and measurements. However I don't know how you can make these. Lots of compound curves going on.

Have you checked with CoupeKing ?

Thanks

I have not checked with Coupe King yet. I was hoping to find some shabby ones for less money knowing that I would want to recover them with matching vinyl for my dash. Would you mind taking a few pictures for me so I can get an idea of how different they are from the non-AC?
