Anyone have a spare gloss black plastic cap for the seat adjustment gear? Its the smaller of the two caps on the chrome housing at the base of the seat. Thanks.

Yes. I removed it to polish the chrome and in case anyone hasn't noticed, the cap is a lot easier to remove than it is to put back. I ended up damaging it...

I'm confused
THere are three plastic covers and the rotary knob

THe upper covers, defined as the highest from the seat base which are "LARGE" with a ~10mm diameter raised circle in the middle

a smaller lower cover inboard near the tranny tunnel and of course the big rotary adjusting knob
Which one is it???
I do have all available though I have yet to work out how the rotary knob comes off, the chrome ring and center black cap was easy
Please advise

Malcolm,

Its the smaller lower cover (as per the photo I sent) closest to the tranny tunnel or the door, since they occur on both sides of the seat. Definitely not the larger one with the raised circle, and not the rotary seat angle adjustment knob with the chrome trim.

Does this help?
