Well I thought it was correct hub cap for an stock E9 wheel.

I lost one on a drive back from Leeds to Manchester years back so have been hunting for one ever since amoungst other things.

Different part numbers for the E3 though and there are two different part numbers shown, to add to the confusion.

Well I guess if they don't fit the E9 wheel they could be for the E3. Presumably there are no part numbers on them, unlikely for a hub cap.

Ok, I already have these on my car as it has the E9 alloys fitted, but you say yours don't fit your wheels, even more confusing.

I am in NC so I guess local to where you need them shipped? I am a little lost by this thread...you are looking for the stainless center caps for the e9 alloy wheels or hubcaps and trim rings for steel wheels?

Sorry for the confusion. My E3 currently has E9 alloys fitted. I want to replace these with the original steel wheels and the corresponding trim rings and hub caps.

Earlier in my confusion I learnt there were 2 different style hubcap trim rings.
So rummaged through the pile of beautiful junk
And found 2 real life examples of the 2 different rings -parts 4 and 8- shown at realoem

Looks like there's a single one on eBay with a cap for £25 if this what you're after I'll keep an eye out as I look through the German, Polish & Austrian eBay a lot for bits. That said the seller may have the others if this is what you need.
