So I recently purchased a set of 5-hole, date correct, Alpina 7x14 wheels for my CSL.
I had been looking for a while as the "real" 5-hole Alpinas are getting hard to come by so I accepted the fact that one of the wheels was of the earlier design with the higher 10mm (vs the 5mm) fin at the wheel rim junction (this is covered in the wheel FAQ.
What I would like to do:
* TRADE my original 5-hole wheel (with the deeper fin, date coded 8/72) for an original 5-hole Alpina wheel with the shallow fin (mid to later 73 date code)
OR
* BUY a single 5-hole Alpina (with the shallow 5mm fin)
OR
* Looong shot option - TRADE the three mid-73 date coded wheels I have for three earlier 72 date coded, deep fin wheels. I realize the odds of winning the lottery are better.. Lol
Anyone have one you want to trade or sell?
