My best friend's brother had a Volvo 262 GT when we were in High School. It was boxy bit very good & sporty.
One of my favorite cars was my 1982 244 GLT Turbo. This was pre-intercooler and turbos only lasted 50K miles though.
back in the 70's + 80's when i did a lot of SCCA TSD road rally, two very popular cars were this generation Volvo and the 2002. both with plenty of room and handled well.

The only Volvo that I have seen and really liked was the P1800 ES. I am not really into wagons, but it has a good look to it.
