Wayne's E9 now back to California

So speaking of 4-post lifts for home use (focused on increasing storage space—- not wrenching), can anyone recommend some of the top models I should consider?

You may want to start a separate thread on this, as it will get buried here.

I have a Rotary Solutions 8000 lb lift and I'm very happy with it. My lift was made in Indiana, but today Rotary's smaller lifts are made in China. You need to go to 10,000lbs or more to get a made in America lift from them.

I would appreciate a dedicated thread about lifts! I’m looking for a house currently and am feeling that a tall 2-car garage with a lift is better than even a 3-car garage. I do a lot of work myself (mostly the race car) and would love to put an end to sliding around on my back. Even if I can’t stand under it, sitting on a stool would be so much better than my back. And apparently there are bridge jacks for 4-post lifts that allow you to take the wheels off too!

The problem for me is that it is really hard to find a tall garage, especially in the neighborhoods (old houses) that I like most.

Wayne, I’m curious how much you have looked at raising the ceiling in your new garage? Also, congrats on the move back west!
