That little hoop on the back of the car shouldn’t ever be used as a tow hook!

Agree that the rear hoop looks pretty flimsy. Are you thinking one of these could be welded on somewhere in the rear in lieu of that wimpy loop?
For two decades, we have seen cars come in with tow hooks snapped off or mangled.
I believe it’s all caused by those darn concrete blocks in the parking lots across the planet.
We cut off what’s left weld up the cracks and weld on new tow hooks in the front only.
Somebody smarter than us will finally figure out what that little hook on the back is for-
It certainly isn’t for towing it would rip off in a heartbeat.
The guys in the shop believe it is a tiedown for car covers.
