While trying to find and seal wind noise on my passenger side ('74 3.0 CS), and after exhausting window and door frame adjustments I thought I'd try some weather strip added to the door seal.
After looking around for something thin and durable enough, I found something worthwhile at the local Home Depot. "Frost King Premium Rubber Self-Stick Weatherseal."Part # V25BK. It's black EPDM closed-cell foam, 5/16" x 1/4"x 17'roll. This "D" profile seal is two strips (side by side) with an easy pull-apart seam running the length. Essentially you're getting a 34' unless you need to use the double width. Price was $8.50! EPDM rubber is one of more durable types and the self stick adhesive is strong enough to hold it in place, but it will release if needed without tearing up what it's attached to. I used it along the top edge of the door glass and the length of the vent window frame portion of the door seal as a single strip. It's black so it blended in easily. Thin and flexible enough to not need to any extra effort to close the door. Near the back/top edge of the door glass, it didn't compress enough due to the flexible nature of the glass at that far edge and was holding it off the rear window, vertical edge. I solved that by pulling the last 6" free and using scissors cut along the length where the round part of the "D" meets the straight "back" of the "D". With that lower edge free to move, it would now compress enough to not keep that rear vertical edge "proud" of the rear window seal and still seal.
Worth checking out...

both windows have a lot of adjustment. you can move the back side in / out, you can change the angle of the window and adjust the rake fore / aft. then there is the same adjustments on the front edge of the rear window. the things to look at -
1. are the rear edge of the front window and the front edge aligned (parallel)?
2. are the same 2 edges parallel? (the class is curved) ... so is the gap the same at the top as it is at the bottom?
3. does the front glass (rear edge) touch the rubber on the front of the rear glass?
4. is the gap of the front window frame parallel to the A pillar? does the glass touch the rubber seal snugly?

if the answer to those question are not yes ... then you don't have them adjusted properly. there are lots of little adjusters to move the bottom of the glass in different directions ... and some of them aren't very obvious until you have the glass + assembly out of the car ... and you see all of them. IMHO this is one of the hardest + most frustrating jobs on a coupe
