Howdy all - Finally have some time to get back on resto of 74 3.0.

It has dual Type 32 Webers and I’ve added a strut tower bar that precludes me from using the original housing w/o modification and I don’t want to alter it.

Searched threads but didn’t find model numbers. Is there a K&N (preferred) or other low profile option that works well - either single housing for both carbs or individual carb option?

Thank you in advance. Tom

You can get the Redline Weber 32/36 filters from several sources. They come with two different height filter elements. Here's an example:

Ty mike!

Well, its been ten years since I had these on my car, but my recollection is that you remove the four screws holding the round air filter plate on the top of the carbs that mate up to the factory air filter, remove the plate, and use those screws to screw these filters into place.

email is inbound to you.

Tom - I'll get those off to you tomorrow. You should sell those adapter plates you are taking off to install these. I seem to recall they are not that easy to find.

Also, a plain black cooling system hose would look much better than that orange thing you have attached to the valve cover:

Yes, that's right. Those TWM adapter plates shown in the photo in Tomme9's first post need to come off. The K&N's (or whatever) attach the same way. You may need shorter screws with the K&N's, as their sheet metal bases are thinner than the cast, TWM adapters.
