The weights printed on the manufacturers plate on my 2800CS are no longer legible. Only the stamped chassis number remains. I have bought a new blank plate from BMW and I need to know the numbers to fill in for;
a)Zul. Ges. Gew. kg (gross vehicle weight)
b)Zul. Achslast vorn kg (max front axle weight)
c)hint kg (max rear axle weight)
Could some kind soul give me the numbers from the same model. I assume they are the same for all 2800CS's.
By the way ,replacing my plate with a new one is quite legal here. The licencing authorities check to see that it is a bona fide replacement of a faded original and that the chassis number is as it should be.
