I wonder how the e9/e3 rides on an air bag suspension? There is a lot of discussion about how standard suspensions beats air on the track, but what about for daily duties. Obviously he doesn't drive this low normally (maybe he does?), so would an air bag suspension be a good balance between comfort and performance for daily use at a "normal" (low, but not slammed) driving height. I've always thought that the standard coupe suspension is too soft and sits too high, but the upgraded suspension (shorter springs and bilsteins) while it looks great is slightly too harsh especially with 16" wheels with sport tires. It would be nice to know if air suspension offers a good compromise between performance/comfort/looks. Anyone with experience?
