What are the dimensions of the rear muffler

Hi guys
When I bought my car it was missing a few things .
One of the items missing was the rear muffler.
Does anyone have dimensions for it , I am just wondering if something “off the shelf “ would fit .
My intermediate muffler is also rusted out so I will have to replace that also.
I have seen some cars with a pipe piece installed instead of that muffler, so that could be an option perhaps.

I will have a complete low mileage exhaust system for an e9 for sale in a few days. The system has the down pipes, front, middle and rear muffler, and tail pipe. The system is not stainless but has less than 5000 miles from new and no rain. The rear muffler has less than 1000 miles from new. I will post some photos in the for sale section in a day or two. All the pieces are German OEM quality and is in excellent condition.

To answer the question the rear muffler is just over 31" long not counting the two mounting ears sticking out at each end, and 5-1/2" in dia. Remember the rear muffle has an indent for the differential.

Thanks for letting me know the measurements.
I am toying with the idea of maybe using one of these universal silencers , if I can’t get an original one over here , shipping an original system whole might be a problem trying to get one to Ireland.
To be honest though, I would prefer an original system but I also have to be mindful of the budget , I think I must have controlling shares in walloth and nesch at this stage !
