I would add:

IMHO - In My Humble Opinion or just IMO if you’re not inclined to be humble…
CN - Carl Nelson, BMW guru from LaJolla Independent. I’ve seen his lowering springs referred to as “CN Springs”
FWIW- For What it’s Worth, also a Buffalo Springfield song IIRC, but I digress…

I only know LAN as Local Area Network. But WDIK?
 
I had only linked one LAN title but knew I’d seen others. Google AI solved it! When I searched “e9coupe.com LAN” to find another example, it spit out the following:

That is actually correct! Turns out any of the LAN threads are ones filled with @deQuincey info and photos. No idea what it means but now I/we know
 
FPS = Fratelli Pedrini Sarezzo, the Italian wheel manufacturer of BMW alloy wheels.
They're just referred to as Pedrini wheels in the Porsche and Volkswagen world.

I knew that well - Some groups had internal crib sheets for their own use but BCA had a formal & maintained document (D6 version) that we used fairly often back when I was there. I figure that is still published. I probably had a copy I gave away when I retired..... (I gave away LOTS of stuff that I had collected... usually paper based as we used stone tablets and slide rules when I started working - LOL)

I was going to dm you and asked what you did at Boeing, but your profile won't do that, I worked a supplier, consultant to 35 years, only did Boeing work, as an industrial designer, worked on many things, probably the most 'high profile', I designed the marketing concept model for the 7E7
