What colour is that?..........

Good afternoon all,

My car is getting closer to heading into the paint booth. I would like to paint her a BMW colour is possible.
She is a dark blue metallic.

If anyone could help me out with paint names and possible some pictures to match it would be a great help.

if it's a non-metallic, it should be Atlantik 041
If it's a metallic, Nachtblau 040 or Arktisblau 045

Baikal is a medium dark blue metallic. It gets lighter or darker depending on the light.

 

[Honolulu]

Atlantik is a beautiful non-metallic dark blue, I had it on my old 2500 sedan.
Baltic has a hint of gray, some feel.

I think the best colors are Fjiord (sp? a medium blue metallic with a hint of lavender in sunlight) or Polaris silver

Nachtblau is a great choice. Same as mine.

It's Atlantic Blue by a nose. Had a 74 Bavaria that color. If you can, try to see the color your are favoring on a whole car, not a photo, not a swatch.

My current coupe is Polaris and I love it. Many? agree that lighter colors show off the lines of our coupes. Debatable.

Polaris seems to be a really popular color. If you don't want to see your coupe coming and going don't go Polaris. It doesn't bother me but some don't like it. Steve

I just saw the Black? 507 in photos parked in SF. As I said above, the darker colors don't seem to show off the lines, sculpture, of the body the way lighter colors do. My thoughts.
