This is a drivers car , a hotrod as you guys call it ?
With the Intrax suspension and changed steering it drives so much better than a oem .... i know, i had both.
Would be otherwise very stupid of me , that suspension alone is around $10k .....
and i don't need a rear break pressure controller... i have a bias valve to the rear which is modern and new.

If it was me, I would do a few simple cosmetic improvements would greatly enhance its appeal:
- replace those wheels with either stock ones or alpina copies
- replace that steering wheel with stock one or Petri
- remove what look like aftermarket light bars front and rear
- reinstall bumpers which will hide the scars left by those light bars

I agree the whees aren't helping the look, but this is personal preference...
I think with a couple small changes it would look awesome, I'd love to have that as a tracktool/mountain fun car! (with the roll cage too of course!

I don't think 40k EU is unreasonable given how solid the base is along with the performance upgrades. Of course you just have to find the right person who wants that kind of car... (it would be me if i had the spare money haha)

James, if you want a tracktool....with roll cage, i have the perfect candidate for you . For sale at 30k .... all new "build" . This is more fun with 300+ hp and torque all over

+ 10 years ago i started to make a copy of Carl Fausett's 928 ( https://928motorsports.com/ ) as one of my projects , but did not complete it due other projects as rallying a E9 :D Got that car from under the dust and plan to finish it now... IF the engine is OK which i bought at the time ...

To each their own…
Everybody likes a stock E9....except for the modifications THEY make.

on the 928 the air intake from the 8 Weber trumpets are sealed from hot engine bay under the scoop with rubber gaskets. That's why it is 2 parts to mount/dismount before one can take the hood of.
That's awesome and must make magnificent noises!
