What is the best and worst color on an E9??? Opinions?

Fjiord does it for me, but understand I have seen only so few coupes. That little bit of lavender coming through the blue really stands out. Wish that color didn't go away in the sun so quickly. Polaris/black is second.

A pal has a faded inka 2002 on blocks, too bright. There was a red/white coupe here years ago, very well kept but I just didn't "take" to that red. White is ho-hum, liked Atlantik, golf too bright, black not there, Sienna nope. A later color diamond black was nice up close and notable for the go-fast bits, but rusty as H*ll. I briefly owned a gold 2800CS that would barf double handfuls of red Kellogg's if you whacked it.

Mine is Baikal though it much needs a paint job and for me to drive it more often.

I came across some bmw mintgrun paint in my inventory. If I liked green I would like this. ...

I wonder if radar cops are surprised that a Sahara coupe can go so fast?

For me, Tiaga, Ceylon, Polaris.

I really love Tiaga, and if the interior of mine was tan and not Blue I would be down at the paint shop for a re spray in a flash.

Personally I think the wheels on the car change your opinion on the colour, a standard Chamonix E9 is pretty boring in my eyes, but with the right wheels it can be really nice.

i have always thought that chamonix was a bit of an "off" white. i had a friend who bought an early e21 320i in chamonix ... and i remember when bmw came out with alpine white i thought it was so much fresher. my e30 m3 was alpine.

that being said, i have a white 911 and shiny white cars show the lines of the car quite well.

Chamonix is def off white. I think th may even have change the mix of it in the late 80s, I may be thinking off a different color or marque. This color chart indicates a change in color number in the 70s.

i'm generally not that fond of green cars ... but tundra is a good green. it looks really good around baikal, agave and taiga. tundra must have a great saddle tan interior.

I didn't see any votes for "amazon green"? Although most people consider that the most unattractive color, I have rarely seen one- except the portions of mine that were not painted midnight blue when I got it. I think if I kept the original color it may be the only one left?
