Of all of the colors the coupe came in, and i believe this is correct, albeit some are very rare ... but all of these are listed as being on a coupe in e9-driven (perhaps some might be repaints).

09 - Sienabraun metallic
21 - Malaga
22 - Inka
23 - Granada
24 - Verona
25 - Granatrot metallic
36 - Riviera
37 - Fjord metallic
40 - Nachtblau metallic
41 - Atlantik blue
42 - Baikal metallic
44 - Pastelblau
45 - Arktisblau metallic
55 - Anthracite metallic
58 - Bristol
60 - Polaris
65 - Turkis metallic
66 - Florida
68 - Tundra metallic
70 - Golf

since i can only put 10 of the 31 colors ... i will eliminate some obvious choices ... my apologies if your favorite isn't listed ... sorry, no black or white choices. If you have one of the 'other' colors, you will have to vote as a separate post

40 for sure, if you own one with this you'll know. All are very nice too.

85 - Chamonix. But then, that's the color of my coupe.

Of the available choices, I picked Verona. My car is going to be painted Chamonix so I've voted with my wallet there, but I do like the subtle color of Bristol and might have gone for that except for my blue seats. Well, frankly, if I didn't have blue seats, I probably would have gone for Verona in spite of Chamonix being the original color.

I agree, the question is too difficult. It's taken me months to actually buy the paint for my car....

Of the ones you listed I chose Baikal, but I think I like Riviera better, but also love Inka, Atlantik, Malaga, Taiga, Polaris, Colorado.......

I just had that very difficult choice to make, the problem is that they look so good, in so many different colors... I always came back to the color of the first e9 I saw was painted in - Polaris, and that's what I went with in the end. So that's my vote.

I voted Ceylon but Turkis and Schwarz are in the same running.

All beautiful

Nice post, mine would be exactly original.....042 Baikal :)

My E3 is Riviera and everyone loves it but deep down I have always loved Taiga. My recent E9 purchase is verona red but its original color is Taiga and it will be restored to that.....and I can't wait.

The thing is, you would never look at a palette with Taiga and choose it, but on the car it is breathtaking.

Okay I voted Taiga because it is the front runner for my future paint job. Colorado follows in second place.

I think they Fjord and Baikal look the best on the coupe. For as rare and beautiful as these cars are, I think that we tend to find some of the gorgeous colors such as Fjord "common". Polaris falls under the same camp since there are so "many" Polaris coupes. The color is simply stunning yet people gravitate to funky colors like Taiga. I suspect that Taiga garners the same attention as a supermodel girlfriend. They both come with some attention-grabbing downsides, but I would have experience with either scenario. :D

I got a (very faded and chipped) Baikal but I've seen a fresh Fjiord and still have the hots for that car. Wonder where it went... if it was still in town/on the island I'd probably have seen it. It's been many months since I saw another coupe. I should shock the populace and drive mine more often, but it's hard to compete with the bike.

I flirted with Taiga back in the 70's, or paint that a as close as my memory allows after all this time. I saw it on a Triumph and thought it looked great. I was going to paint a VW Beetle at some point so I bought a gallon. Some time went by and the car didn't get painted but I did paint my Schwinn with it along with a portion of my Mom's furnace room.

The Schwinn looked great until I cracked the frame and it was replaced with a Verona red warranty repair part. Maybe that has something to do with my leaning towards Verona. Doesn't Rob Siegel say that we get imprinted in our youth?

I think I've worked on 21 of the colors. Maybe more. One week I worked on 5 Veronas in a row. I don't really care for Verona. We call it tomato at the shop. I also really don't like sienabraun. We have a very bad word for it at the shop.. I won't share that.

I wouldn't mind having a chamonix with a cardinal interior.

another "sleeper" color is Turkis. Never a big fan until I saw an E9 in that color with fresh paint and a tan leather interior in sfdon's shop. STUNNING

No one answer... like steering wheels it depends on the variant... the car will tell you what color it wants to be. ;-))
