So many beautiful colors although if I had to pick one I would go with Turkis.

seeing a coupe in different colors is so much different than seeing a 2002 in the same color. i never really cared for the 02 in turkis, but i love the coupe in that color. i agree with Stan - sleeper color, rare + pretty ... probably one of my top 3 pics. i have always thought the top 4 would be ceylon, turkis, baikal + inka ... but closely followed by verona and any of the other blues.

its easy to pic least favorite colors for me that would be - sienna, then sahara, golf, then most greens
 
This is very difficult question. To answer it I tried to picture E9 with interior color combinations I have run across in person or on different photos on the net. There are colors that first couple of times you see them you may not like them , or pay not much attention as much but then they end up growing on you. Colors like Turkis Metalic, or Ceylon ...
this question also reminds me of the TV show Bachelor (which I don't care for much by the way) but....
Picking the girl you want to marry among all those gorgeous women by dating them for a short while .... I don't know about you ...but if I was put in situation like that !!!?? at young age ..... I am given more reason not to marry yet ..... so. I don't know if you see my point??!!

All and all I think Taiga would end up as my Top pick, and then Inka. but a beautiful High quality Polaris paint with dark red(or Burgundy) Riccaro style leather interior, lowering suspension , with 16 inch wheels ( staggered ) is timeless I think !

Here is my choices in order
1- Taiga
2- Inka (maybe Colorado)
3- Ceylon
4- Turkis
5- Granatrot Metalic (camal color interior)
6- Pastle Blue (saddle)
7- Baikal
8- Nevada
9-
.....
Aside from the top two ,, now I want to go back and change the choices .......o_O:D

Artisblau, then the lighter of the two Baikals (saw Don Bower's today where he won a beautiful blown-glass trophy at the AutoLawn; way to go Don!) it looked gorgeous, then probably Turkis, and Macha's Malaga....and a special place for Stan's Chamonix...
 
Fjiord is a great colour, it changes depending on the light sometimes more silverblue sometimes more violet, I get tons of positive comments on the colour. Combined with black seats and biscuit coloured carpet it pops.

well, i could only use 10 choices in the poll due to the forum format and i had to draw the line somewhere. granatrot is a pretty color although i believe it was a '74 only color. i also couldn't put in chamonix or fjord ... and combined nachtblau + atlantik. so, yes ... the process is flawed
 
My first choice 30 years ago would have been Fjord over tan, then for the last 20 I would have said it was too common/boring, flash forward and I now have a Fjord over tan E9... timeless Coupe color and one of the best at showing off the lines and brightwork to it's fullest.

I agonized over the colour for my car. I love some of the 70s colours like Inca and Turkis........on someone else's car. Came down to Fjord vs Verona so I had a panel painted Verona on one side and Fjord on the other. When I saw Verona it just dominated my vision to the extent that I imagined the car would almost disappear. Very happy I chose Fjord and everyone who has seen it likes it. And I agree with John regarding the chameleon character of this colour in differing lights. I used top shelf Glasurit and I'm hoping that it will retain a quality look for decades.
Have a saddle / biscuit interior with mottled tan carpet.
Somehow it looks 70s yet modern!
Not many E9s here so no chance of becoming bjored with Fjord.
 
I'm afraid I can't cast a vote in the official poll. My favorite "color" is 86-Schwarz - I am just a black car kind of guy. Second favorite would be 21-Malaga. Taking nothing away from the other beautiful choices, these two done well get me excited.
