I'm selling the auto transmission I've took out my E9, but I haven't got a clue what it's worth.its from a 72 csa, without looking at it to confirm, I'm sure its the zf unit. It was rebuilt no more than 575 miles ago, I've done 500 miles since I bought the car, it was completely rebuilt and fitted 2 weeks before I bought the car. It's comes with the torque converter and any other bits I've removed with it. Any idea how much it's worth??

around here, its a good mooring anchor for a small boat. most people can't give them away

If you have friends in the service I am sure the RAF can use it as ordinance.
Torque converter side should be up.

in the continent people may think other way,...or not, there is always a match between an offer and a need, the question is where and when...

Hey now, there are people who will pay good money for a nice tranny. Especially one who has had all the work done and with few miles on it.
I just got back from a week in Thailand so I know....

They even pay to have their pictures taken with them.

But no-one would be interested in any of the bits taken off the tranny!!!

Hold on to it

Search threads. There was someone looking for an automatic.
He loved his coupe but physically was unable to drive a standard (arthritis or something).
I am sure there is or will be someone among us who will NEED the automatic.

Again, drop it with the torque converter side up, the enemy will not know what hit them.
Heck, we collected used frying grease in WWII, whatever it takes.
