can any one help with this size wheel and tire. will they fit the E9 Type A
205/55 16x 7.5 fronts 16x 8.5 225/45 rears . if no go please tell me what size wheel to look for alpina stile rims.

You haven't said anything about offsets, but if they are Alpina clones, they should fit. Rears are a little short, the normal fitment is 225/50/16s.

I have Alpina 7s and 8s with 205/55 front and 225/50 rears on my lowered car. You may need to roll the front fender lips, as I did.

There is a fair amount of room in the rear for wide wheels and tires, but the fronts are a lot tighter.

I really like the alpinas which ones are you using and what should i expt. to pay for a set? Do you have a lead on a nice set also?
 
I have the original open-face Alpinas, which I have had for 10 or 15 years. They are around, but expensive.

Does anyone know the widest tire I can put on a 15"X 6" wheel (with a 22mm off-set) without modification of the front fender lips?
