Can anyone recommend wheel & tyre size. Its for a road, not race car. I am very keen on the look as seen below, but I don't know what size they are. Please advise/comment.

Pretty sure those are 17" wheels which can work as ET 20 17x8x225 45 front and ET 20 17x8x245 40 rear which is what I have here - BBS 2 piece Style 42 (used on the e36, 39). You will need to roll the front fender lips and possibly use a 1.5mm front spacer. Rubber is Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

If I had it to do over again (next time I would forget the stagger and go 225 width front and rear with 10mm rear spacers on the rear hubs so I could rotate the tires to spread out the wear and get another year or more before replacing them. Also use an all season if there is a decent performer out there.

Here is the BMW wheel database with just about every thing BMW has ever used. You can safely go ET 26 on the rear in 17". I have 8mm spacers on my ET20 17 x8" rears with no problems
