Where are we getting stainless brake lines?

I've had a drag on the brakes somewhere for the last few rides. It's only noticeable just as I come to a stop, or stopping on a slight incline, where the car doesn't roll forward under gravity as it used to. Oh well, time for a four-wheel brake flush and bleed, and sure enough, the right front won't turn freely, in fact it's pretty stiff to turn by hand. I expect that at least one of the stainless lines I put in many years ago have done what the previous stock set did, and I'll have to change them out... again.

Various sites show p/n 34 32 1 159 379 (front) to be used by 2002s, E3, E12, E21, E23 and E24. Where are we getting our brake hoses nowadays?

I got HEL brake lines to make me a 6 line set, they now retail them. They are marine stainless as standard so better than goodridge IMHO. Obviously would need som shipping to you though

Right, thanks, both of you. There are other sources I've found but wanted to know what other list members have been doing.

Oddly, one vendor I spoke with told me the hoses all have different (aftermarket) part numbers for the applicable realoem models that use the (stock) hoses.

I believe the only things that matter are 1, DOT approved; 2, sufficient length; and 3, correct end fittings.
