Obviously a new hole for the left screw was made, left to the original opening. Before you go for a new mirror you should be sure that the left hole will be covered by the new mirror.
Let me find a mirror to show you the proper dimensions, will be back!

The distance for the holes of a E9 mirror is 82mm.
The distance from the left fixing point to the edge of the mirror is 15mm.
With an E9 mirror you will not cover the left hole.
Better to use the installed mirror with it's rubber.20231003_152859.jpg
I found this rubber, please verify the size.

Hi,
as already shown above the distance between the two holes of the mirror is 82mm.

There are two possible positions for mounting the mirror on the door. At the triangle window of further back.
This photo has been taken from a left NOS-door with the backwards position marked by the manufacturer.
The holes at the triangle window have been cut by myself.
Position Spiegel NOS.JPG

The postitions for the holes are shown here (on a right door:Position Spiegel.JPG

E9 Spiegelposition hinter 3eck-Fenster Loch 1.jpg
For the backward position 34.5cm is the distance from the edge of the door to the first hole.
It´s also very important to observe the vertical position from the top line of the door:

Thomas

remydedez,

I saved these photos back in January because I liked the mirrors and hadn’t seen them before. They look to be the same type as yours. Unique to the French market, perhaps?
